A Meditation with Saint Teresa of Ávila
Saint Teresa of Ávila wrote, “Let nothing disturb you, let nothing frighten you; all things are passing; God never changes.”
Take a quiet moment and remember: God is near, even when life feels uncertain. The freedom Christ offers is not a life without difficulty, but the grace to keep choosing love, hope, and what is good. Like Saint Carlo Acutis, who used his gifts and love of the Eucharist to share his faith, we can offer God the ordinary things of our day—our work, our words, our skills, and our care for one another.
Let your heart rest in God’s unchanging love. Then, in your own way, let your light shine.
God of every moment, steady my heart in your love. Help me live freely, use my gifts generously, and bring your light to someone today. Amen.
