JANUARY MESSAGE
Thought for the Month“…that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:10–11)
January invites us to begin anew, and it is dedicated to the Holy Name of Jesus. As we step into 2026, we are reminded that the name of Jesus is not simply a word, but a living presence of love, mercy, and salvation. To call upon His name is to welcome peace into our hearts and strength into our lives. This month becomes a time to renew our devotion, to let His name be the guiding light that shapes our choices and comforts us in our struggles.
The turning of the calendar to a new year naturally stirs hope and reflection. We look back with gratitude for blessings received and forward with trust in God’s providence. The Holy Name of Jesus gives us confidence that we do not walk alone into the unknown days ahead. Just as His disciples found courage in speaking His name, so too can we find courage to face challenges, to forgive, and to begin again. The new year is not only about resolutions but about redirecting our lives toward Christ, who makes all things new.
As families, communities, and individuals, January offers us the chance to weave together the joy of new beginnings with the reverence of the Holy Name. In prayer, in daily work, and in acts of kindness, we can let His name be spoken not only on our lips but lived through our actions. May this month remind us that every day of the year is an opportunity to glorify Jesus, to trust in His care, and to walk faithfully in His love. In doing so, the new year becomes more than a passage of time, it becomes a journey of grace. May you have a Happy New Year!
